This cabinet is exceptional for the quality of its materials. It’s also very special for its engraved plaques in bone which represent different scenes: The surrender of Seville to Ferdinand the Third, following an iconography by Francisco Pacheco (in the central plaque); Saint George and the Dragon (on the left); and Saint James the Moor-slayer (on the right).
